Whenever possible, don't get involved in your kids' clash. Step in only if there's a danger of physical harm. ||Most newborns need eight to 12 feedings a day — about one feeding every two to three hours ||Reading aloud will help your baby be a better reader when she's older ||Your baby should have 4-6 wet diapers per day. This is a great way to monitor if they're getting enough milk ||Set aside time to spend with each child individually, so they don't feel like they're competing for your attention ||Your toddler may be clumsy simply due to her trials to master so many new physical skills at the same time. The more active she is, the more likely she will drop things, run into things, or fall down. ||Wash your hands thoroughly and frequently. It’s not the type of soap that prevents the spread of bacteria and viruses; it’s how you wash your hands. ||Don't allow your pet on the couch while you are holding baby. This makes dogs bigger and taller in relation to your infant and may encourage aggression. ||Trim your baby’s nails weekly after a bath when the nails are softened ||Only close friends and relatives should visit you during your first month at home. They should not visit if they are sick ||
Newborn Care

The basic advice after delivery is to concentrate on breast feeding. It should be exclusive breast feeding, given on demand without restriction. If your full term newborn sleeps for more than 4 hours, you should wake him/her for feeding.

Another important advice is to watch for neonatal jaundice i.e. the yellowish discoloration of the skin and eyes of your child. This happens normally in 50% of newborns. However, when it does happen it is wise to measure the level of the jaundice (bilirubin level) to make sure it is within the physiologic levels and follow it if necessary. To help reducing the level of the jaundice or to prevent it even, we advice frequent breast feeds + exposure of the baby to the sun in the early morning or late afternoon.
